1st – 5th Grade

Our 1st-5th grade students use a curriculum called Bible Detectives and Bible Trackers. This curriculum helps students to thoroughly know Bible and view it as a continuous story. We use visual timelines, maps, and crafts to reach the heart and mind of each child.

This curriculum approaches the study of the Bible in a near-chronological method. Most curriculums differ because they introduce a virtue each month such as “Wisdom” and then pull scripture from throughout the Bible to educate students about that particular virtue. We want to help students discover how a person, place or thing fits into the Bible framework.

The study works on a two-year plan. Therefore, by the time students reach the 5th grade, they have been through the Bible twice. We believe this will give them a solid foundation as they move into our older youth group program and focus on life application.
